Motivating Research Questions: To what extent can we modify or replace our existing survey measures/methods to best represent complex identities of those on the margins? What are the implications of changes in these measures on our study of social and political inequalities?

Current Foci: ordering effects of sociodemographic questions and item nonresponse; use cases for gradational gender questions; survey response time and attention checks; correspondence of free-text responses and categorical variables for gender/sexuality; factorial survey experiments and political outcomes
